Cathay I Fares Rules - CX Says No AA Miles, AA Says
Oops title should say: AA says yes there are AA miles
Looking at an I fare YYZ to BKG in new business class.
CX booking site differs from Expert Flyer with I fares available on a Saturday whereas EF says only Friday and Sunday. So that's good as I want the 1:40 am departure out of YYZ to HKG.
On a dummy booking though, for the dates CX says these fares are valid, notes no mileage accrual with Asia Miles or AA miles while at the same time, AA says fares in C, D I, J on CX accrue the usual - 100% base miles, 25% COS bonus and 1.5 elite qualifying miles.
Is CX incorrect or are I fares subject to their whims? D fares are $3,000 more so even without AA miles I'd hardly pay that for the FFPs.
And on the CS fare rules popup it says this:
