Last year I flew 22 DL segments and as an PDX based AS Gold I never got an upgrade. This year I have flown 13 legs, including 5 last week. I think I have been on all the domestic aircraft and last week on my way back to PDX on a ATL to SLC flight (because the ATL-PDX is always sold out) I thought I had it made, a 767-300 on a Sunday early morning. Nope, I moved from #2 to #31 faster than you can say "airline bankruptcy". The good news is I have gotten the Economy stretch or extra or whatever they are seats several times. On the PDX-JFK-PDX in a couple of weeks, so four more to chock up to no upgrade for sure.
