I booked the JWMK v the JWKL because our flight out at the end of the trip is at 7:30am. Thought that the ride to the airport from the JWKL would just be miserable that early. There is something to be said for close.

Even though I am out on JWKL, I had a question about the rooms that sit alongside the pool and have direct access---can't anyone in a floatie simply drift right by your room and stare on in, erasing any privacy that you may have had? Looks like suites are on upper floors though (unfort no suite avail on pts during my stay either)

The Ren looks really nice also. I know that many say its a better option since they often auto upgrade, esp for plats.

I am just a lowly Gold and have not had great experiences being upgraded to suites, esp on award stays. If I was a paying customer I would be the 1st to drop my pack there. An award stay in a pool suite at the Ren is about the same pt cost at an award stay in a standard suite at the JW. All things equal--would you all use those pts for Ren pool suite or the JW 1br suite?
