oh, and you don't have to be dependent on the useless Avios currency as well which is deeply devalued now.
I maybe cynical, but I am not sure if there is any good mileage program left in the world. I am more looking for the status benefits. I travel with my wife and kid couple of times a year, and would like to have better seats, easy check-in experience, better treatment in case of IRROPS etc. And lounge access would be great.
