I do give them credit, that is not the point. I'm just considering something that could potentially happen in the future. They have reverted back in the past to where you would need a higher Y fare to upgrade. You think AA mgmt is all that impressive and don't make mistakes? If that was the case they wouldn't be in this situation right now.
