I showed a confirmation receipt on my Blackberry, which wasn't enough, they wanted an old fashioned "PAPER" confirmation, come on we are in Y2K my friend.
I guess Indian airports could also start accepting online bp's or e-tickets soft copies on phones, but again , the rule states we need to carry an e-ticket and so should be adhered to..
Even when we go to many countries in Europe, they ask to see the return ticket confirmation and its always easier to hv a printout..
FWIW, in the past 1 month have been lucky a couple of times in Kolkata airport wherein they allowed me to enter basis online bp since the airline counter had closed by the time i arrived for my late night flight..
