Keep in mind there is a good chance by Dec/Jan UA will have fixed some of its problems, there will be the decision to renew club memberships and credit cards. AA 'should' want to make sure these folks stick even if they can't do 100,000 miles/points in 8 months.
I think that all AA has to do is well, be AA. Once these new EXPs experience what we have, they will likely find a way to reach 100K by the end of the year. With DEQ11, BOSEQ and others no doubt coming later this year, it won't be that difficult.
