Swanhunter, as much as I really value your advice on a range of matters, I think we'll stick to the plan of passing through DXB (en route to the Seychelles ) as we depart in a few days. But your recommendation to minimize time at the airport prior to the BA flight (leaving enough time for security, as per Time's suggestion) sounds very sound.
