is F here to stay?
...or are the times of the Jet set over? Lufthansa announced today that they think about getting rid of F on many Routes (and introduce a Premium Economy but that's another story). My impression is that the promotion to buy J and get F on one leg are a rather regular occurrence on BA and I wonder what percentage of Seats in F is actually sold and not given away through such promotions, operational Upgrades or to Premiers. Does an Airline need F mainly for reputation or does it really generate money?
Was the idea of VS to only have Business Seats but advertise them as "ueber"-Premium not so dumb after all?
