I'm thinking of spending some time around the 4th of July in the PHX area in order to relax at a resort (by myself). In the past I have stayed at the Phoenician and the Biltmore and I prefer the Biltmore.

Since I am currently working as a contractor staying at a Residence Inn I have made Platinum status with Marriott. I have looked at the 2 JW Marriott properties on line and cannot decide which I'd prefer. I generally enjoy the pools, the spa, the restaurants and bars. The Camelback is a little lower in price than the Desert Ridge but both are much lower than what I've paid elsewhere. (This may be due to being in the summer season.)

I'd appreciate any thoughts/advice to help me in choosing.
