I updated my mathy spreadsheet with a sheet ("SPG Be Choosy 2012") that compares only the different point bonus options (for those of us who are interested in the bonus point options). Just enter the nightly rate and number of nights for each stay, and the table should self-calculate. On the main sheet ("SPG vs HHonors Comparison"), I went ahead and put in the triple point option (assuming 15 night qualifier is going to be met, as in my scenario) in calculating the entire point earnings for an SPG stay. The bottom portion of this sheet has the current HHonors' Q2 promotion. In order to compare apples to apples, I calculated the free night ratio (number of paid nights needed in order to earn one free night) for both SPG and HHonors.

One more thing, my spreadsheet is assuming SPG Platinum and HHonors Diamond on the main analysis sheet. Hope this helps! And please let me know if you find any calculations that are incorrect!
