because of BA's good safety record and the maintenance they carry out, they are allowed to fly the 747's for longer than other carriers. this is what i was told by the maintenace guys at LHR on Monday.

I had a little moan to them that whilst I appriciated that the maintenance was very important (of course!), I felt that the interiors were really showing there age!
