i'm already booked with just a 2 hour layover in bkk. so the overnight is not an option. i just wish i knew whether or not my outbound usa based airline (who was the ticketing carrier and the check-in carrier) will ask to see my burma visa upon check-in or whether, since they are taking me only as far as bkk before i have to check in again, will not care. i have no plans to actually go to burma after reaching bkk, so i don't actually need one except for validation with the check-in carrier if required.
