I cannot understand why BA have assigned such old and tatty 747s to this route, which is normally pretty busy.

The last 6 times I have flown this route, I have only flown on 1 modernised 747 (with updated 1st cabin) and the rest of them have been pretty shabby. The Club World cabins also look really tired.

I cannot understand why BA has assigned cruddy planes on such a competitive route, esp since SIA / Qantas / Lufthansa have 380s

I am in the process of changing my future bookings to the 11 & 12 but the timings of this flight isn't ideal for me. I think this is a bit rubbish to be quite frank and something of a foolish move strategiclly.
