We also used to have A330 direct MSP-HNL. Now we can fly a 757 instead and stop in LAX.
Losing so many long haul A330 flights from MSP is a significant downgrade in service. I don't consider a 757/767 with no IFE in Y to be a comparable replacement for international flights.
There has been a noticeable decrease in service at MSP since the merger. It's not as dramatic as what has happened in places like CVG or STL. It is also not unreasonable to be concerned that those kinds of severe service cutbacks could happen at MSP.
