There were some pretty dumb comments in the article. Then again I'm seeing some pretty sub-par comments in this thread.

MSPeconomist is spot on why the MD's are subpar to the old DCs. DLs is supposed to be the master of hard product. Personally I'd like to see both DCs and MDs go away. They are relics and extremely noisy to anyone unfortunate enough to live or work in their flight path.

Be that as it may I don't blame DL for lining up equipment to heighten profits for the mission. However, I am irritated with the downgrades in long haul routes. The cherry on the top being the loss of MSP-HNL so they could run ATL-HNL. In particular since ATL-HNL hasn't exactly had stellar loads.
