UPDATE: After arguing my case and escalating this to a supervisor with some authority instead of the original agent who was a robot reading from a script my bonus miles for the iPad purchase were awarded by Skymiles Shopping. They acknowledged the ambiguity of their Apple promo email as Apple's T&C did not appear in a prominent place. The link for the T&C in their original email led you to the Skymiles Shopping T&C and not Apple's and they gave me the benefit of the doubt.
