It actually works out a lot cheaper this way. The cheapest mix of economy and business I can get on one ticket is £1839 per trip on SIA. Doing it this way will be £1,250 per trip on a mix of BA/SIA & MH. MH will be the business component.

WT+ is £1,650 per trip.
