Bust a deal, face the wheel!

Again, flying UA today is like playing the game from Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome. Remember the game that they made you play, when you broke a promise, or didn't keep your word? It was "Bust a deal, face the wheel!"

You had to spin a wheel, and whatever came up, you had to take. It wasn't fair. It wasn't just. It is what you had to live with. The spin of a wheel was the only justice you would receive. Period.

So, Mr. Duncan, spin the wheel, and see what you get. Oh, it says "Forfeit Goods"! Too bad! You could have gotten "Acquittal", and had your airfare refunded. No 120 Euro refund for you! (Well, at least you did not spin Gulag, Life Imprisonment, Death, or even worse, Auntie's Choice....)

Seriously. We all know that there is zero chance of this guy getting a refund, a credit, or any time of reasonable compensation from UA. No way. He is wasting his time.

Forget about it, and move on with your life. Take your business to a competitor, and let Smisek and his cronies wonder what happened.
