As feared I had to cancel my UUA'd booking today. BA.com wasn't processing correctly so rang booking line, agent was helpful and checked underlying fare before transferring me to Avios team (and said it appeared to be non-refundable). Same message from Avios agent but she went to get me an email address to send my booking screenshot to, then came back and said it was a known issue so they'd refund with the £200 penalty as I'd been shown when booking (didn't need me to email screenshot as a result). Got there in the end, relatively painlessly ^
