From a seating comfort point of view, the 767-300, with it 2-3-2 configuration and E+ is probably the best, I would agree.
The only downside to the 763--if this is important for you--is that it only has the old-fashioned loop-style IFE on overhead monitors every few rows.
These planes are being modified to include AVOD with a screen at each seat, but I believe the first plane is in the process of being modified right now.
Otherwise, you have a few other choices:
1. 757-200: I believe all the 752's operated on this route are PMUA, so the IFE would be the same as on the 763, but you would have to contend with 3-3 seating in E+
2. A319. Same as 1. above
3. 753: These are all PMCO aircraft. They are probably you last choice as they have neither DirecTV nor E+
4. 738: These are all PMCO planes. A few already have E+ and it is being installed pretty quickly. Almost all of them have DirecTV (which costs $7.99), but a few of them have loop-style IFE and overhead monitors, and others no IFE at all...there is no way of knowing which type of 738 you will get, unfortunately.
Those are the choices...
