Amantaka and Amansara - March 2013
Planning ahead, we are thinking of going to Amantaka and Amansara in March next year. We have 12 nights, and was thinking of splitting our time between these two resorts, i.e. 6 nights at each which would give us plenty of time both to enjoy the resorts and to see the sights. My questions to you:
- Is March a good time to go?
- Is 6+6 a good split or should we do it differently? Would it be too long to stay 6 nights at each resort (we do not want to go to a third place during this holiday, so if 12 nights for the two resorts is too much, we might do something completely different)?
- Which activities should we do at each?
- Which resort should we stay at first (of course we want to save the best for the end)?
- Is there a gym or tennis coursts at these resorts?
- We are normally very happy with entry level accommodation at Amans, but are happy to splurge if it really adds something to the experience (like villas at Amanpulo, Sveti Stefan suite with private pool at Aman Sveti Stefan)
- We will travel with our Amanjunkie junior son. Anything particular you would recommend in terms of travel with him (he will be 9 by then)?
For information: other possible plans for March next year is New York first and then Amanyara (but Amanyara REALLY expensive and not sure about Aman there compared to Aman in Asia...) or back to Bali where we would stay at Amanusa for the first time and then revisit Amankila (but a bit "boring" to go back there again, maybe, since there are so many other great places to visit and also weather in March might not be as good as we would like it to be).
Looking forward to hearing from you!
