Just to throw in one more data point.... The DXB to AMM flight was alright actually..... the food (a function of DXB catering) was definitely miles ahead of the catering out of HKG. However, the DXB-AMM flight I took was in the morning, and was not the pre-turnaround of the AMM-DXB which I took (in the afternoon).
