I agree with BBB and others who call an end to these sorts of threads... even if the public interest defence is that this might affect the traveling public at some stage the fact remains that these are issues internal to BA.

FTers gawking at this stuff and often stirring up feelings between BA staff just smacks of a rather distasteful voyeurism to me. You may travel with BA, but you are not privvy to its internal workings unless you actually work for them. A few muttered rumours at a HOL dinner or Taste of London does not put you on BA's board of directors.

We must never forget that these are people's livelihoods and emotional well being we are talking about and I fail to see why the details should be aired in public until it affects the public in a demonstrable way.

However, if in the future a strike is actually called then I think discussion here becomes quite legitimate on the other hand...
