Quite honestly I did not see the pre check part of that. The sticker I received was given to me by a delta agent (or whoever is contracted there to work DL flights) just before I entered the line to drop my bag. They had red and blue stickers. When I asked what these are for they told me it was to distinguish between the elite+/j passengers and coach. Seems we are talking about two different things. My theory about stickers ticking the OP off still stands.
