If I search LCY-NCE, it asks me to select prices and dates (from £47/£51). When I select the dates and continue it offers me flights from LHR and LGW at those prices but the LCY prices are much higher.

Annoying as I just want to find the lowest prices from LCY, not interested in LGW or LHR.

Why bother asking which airport if it's just going to be ignored?
