You must be joking about "reversing the charges" on your credit card. You received the points -- you have NO basis to claim that you did not receive what you paid for!!!
And when you make the Points and Cash reservation online, why don't you print that transaction? It shows the reservation details, AND the points purchase details (last 4 digits of cc, total amount paid, authorization number, date of purchase).
(Personally, I don't think I would ever use points and cash for a reimbursable business stay, but that's a whole other issue.)
