Slightly OT, since not a rental car:

My neighbour's brother, living in Brussels, won a competition at the local Audi dealer. One week (Easter) free use of an Audi A1. He visited most of his friends in southern Europe, driving during the day (and the full last night)
8421 kilometers equalling 5263 miles
