So, the OH and I are off to NYC in First on the BA115 on Wednesday, and are getting quite excited about the whole experience. It will be the OH's first ever long haul flight - what a way to start!

Just checked on MMB and 1A and 1K had opened up, so I've bagged them for us (put the OH in 1A as it's his birthday). I remember recently reading a post on here suggesting that these no longer become available to lowly Silvers like myself at T-72, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. My only concern is that a GCH or two may turn up at the last minute and bump us out of these - does anyone have experience of this happening? Or should we be safe? Don't want to end up stuck in 5E/F.

Oh - and if anyone wants guesting into the CCR on Wednesday morning/lunchtime, let me know. We're planning to be there nice and early to make the most of the experience (will be my first chance to explore the F Lounge too) - probably by 10:30/11:00. Will give us plenty of time for a relaxing brunch before heading to the Spa for our facials...
