Assuming no difficulties with actually getting the wretched seats. I think I'd go for 747's approach of fewer destinations and longer stops.

LHR > NRT (stop) > OKA (stop) > CTS (stop) > NRT > SGN (stop) > HKG (stop) > SIN (stop) > LHR

(yes, I like Asia !)

I'd use JAL or CX wherever possible and fall back on BA if not available...
