As you all should know I'm no TSA fan but a BIG ^ on this one.
I disagree - water is a consumable item, and should never be "tested" or even touched by government agents whose jobs bring them into physical contact with hundreds of unsanitary pieces of luggage, among other typical items, every day.

An awful lot of luggage these days rolls on the floor. The floor is dirty. The luggage gets dirty when it rolls - or is set down upon - the floor. TSOs touch that filthy luggage - and then they want to touch or test water that's going to be used for making baby formula?

How many poisonous lawn chemicals are tracked onto that floor from peoples' shoes? How much dog feces?

How many bacterial and viral infections exist on the luggage of sick travelers who sneeze into their hands and then grab their luggage? TSOs handle those, too.

And we all know how often TSOs change their gloves at the c/p - not often enough.

Gee, now that I think of this, I may want to get a can of Lysol at my destination next time a travel and disinfect all of my luggage when I arrive!
