Hi all!

I'm curious about status matching. Currently a KrisFlyer Gold/ Star Gold and hearing so many people talk about status matching across airlines and competitors. Curious about 3 questions.

1) Would OneWorld or SkyTeam (preferred) match status if I switch over, considering that I'm finding their transpacific flights much cheaper?

2) For the Star Alliance loyalists, would any other airline in the Star Alliance group be willing to take a KrisFlyer Gold on and status match? I'm largely open to UA/NH/ OZ/ LH/ TG as options. I find SQ Gold a bit pointless...

3) Process. How is it done?
