On the phone for 2 hours and counting....

I cancelled an award trip back in February due to a schedule change. The taxes were refunded but today I realized the miles were never redeposited. I called UA over 2 hours ago and have been passed around several times (Mileage department, reservations, supervisors, etc). Still on hold waiting for a resolution.

This is just so absurd, they keep telling me "Sir, we see the reservation was cancelled" but cannot seem to grasp the concept that the miles were never refunded.

I feel like sending a bill to UA for my time wasted on this...
