For reference, on PMCO, I had no trouble having anyone on a different PNR get Elite seating and also same-day standby for EUA/CPU.
I don't think this is a systems related change. I think this is a result of UA wanting to incrementally monetize E+.
Is there a thread on the WSJ article on UA results and how happy UA was at the ability to increase the monetization of E+ with SHARES? I think they also implied that UA chose the PMUA revenue management system.
