I guess it depends upon if the sale is actually made in Canada, never mind whether you used a Canada denominated credit card.
1) My AAdvantage account has a US address; 2) I gave them my AAdvantage #; 3) I have a 2nd address in Canada. I explained this when i asked to have it priced it in Canadian $. When they ticketed it, I gave the Visa CC # & gave the Canadian address. Now that I think about it, I think I even ticketed OVER THE PHONE a circle-Pacific ex-HKG in Canadian $ with this credit card. Don't other people have credit cards with different addresses, one home, one business (if one owns the business) or a 2nd home in another state or country; i.e., Canada??? I was very upfront about this.
