I had a 24 hr reservation through Hotwire for Budget. I decided to bring the car back the night before as I was staying at a local hotel tonight with a shuttle. Upon returning the car I was charged a $140 early return fee.

After spending about an hour on the phone with Hotwire they got Budget to agree to reverse the charge. Just a word of caution.
