Otherwise, my understanding is that, although the US RTW desk can help in setting up the ticket, it can not actually ticket. Has your experience been different? Have things changed, or have I been misinformed?

I am not a travel agent. I was going to have it ticketed exactly as I ticketed a DONE03 & a DONE04 last year: 1) I called AA RTW desk & set up an itinerary ex-AMM; 2) I had them price it in Canadian dollars; 3) I called AA RTW desk back when priced & gave them my credit card (Visa) which has a Canadian address; 4) voila, electronic ticket.

Were they not supposed to do this??
