I'm here right now. I got two rooms booked for three nights with four reservations. The hotel was kind enough to get them all worked out so we wouldn't have to change rooms. At checkin, both rooms were very nice...booked at upgraded points award. One room was 665; it had a small balcony looking over Operngasse. The other was 379; it was a larger Jr. Suite. So far so good; great attention from the staff. I noticed my safe wasn't working in my room; they were unable to fix it but offered to store my items in lieu of the in-room safe; that was the first day and I passed. When I left tonight (third night) around 6:00 I told them that the AC didn't seem to be working. When I returned at 10:00 the front desk told me that I had left my door open; I know I had not. When I got to the room the furniture around the desk was moved around, my posessions (appear) were in tact, and the room was hotter than hell. I called the front desk; gentleman came up with a ladder and then left the room. I started packing up b/c I knew how this was going to play out. I was moved to the "last room in the hotel." It is right off the work out room. The gentleman from the front desk who was escorting me couldn't even find it! It is tiny, tiny, tiny. There is no shower...just a tub! Why they didn't know that the head was blasting in my room after 4 hours is beyond me. Checking online, the hotel does in fact look to be sold out. Nice hotel, but what a crappy way to end a trip to Vienna. I wish they'd have gotten it figured out before 10:00 pm and been proactive instead of reactive. This is honestly the worst room I've ever had on an award or paid stay in Europe. It feels like a cruise ship...the walls are closing in on me!
