Great Hilton in a historical building! Well done, not a cookie cutter place and that's a good thing. It's like a hidden & quiet retreat in downtown LA, amazing views from the roof terrace. Staff was great, quiet & clean rooms, comfy & luxurious, some small-ish rooms however. Easy access to transit (7th street/Metro Center station) & close to Walgreens & RiteAid, delis, restaurants, and Ralph's (supermarket) is not too far on 9th. Downtown LA can be iffy for some (drugs & homeless), but I enjoyed it on this business trip. I would return and recommend. Cheers!
