I was getting excited about the benefits associated with this card up until you mentioned the 50 mile disclaimer. That stinks. Most people are usually not 50 miles or more from their homes.
They are marketed as travel benefits, like, if your car break down when you are on a road trip half way across the country.
But of course it is a cost-saving measure to prevent people from using the benefits, like you said, most people are usually not 50 miles or more from their homes.
