Seat selection - Gold cannot select seat for partner?
The situation: gold + blue travelling together on 241 booking in First

The problem: I can select 1A for me, but not 1K for my wife

I'm told by the Exec club gold line that even though we're on the same PNR and I'm gold, I cannot select a premium seat for my wife. Is this correct?

Any pointers for solving it?
