I've never heard of such a visa, but thought that perhaps it was one of those weird, short-term volunteerish visas or something.

Anyway, I think we can agree that when the US issues a visa, it gives the visaholder Limited Leave to Remain with no restriction on movement until the visa expires. I would be very interested in knowing if anyone has experienced anything different.
