I usually get my upgrade email around 4 am 2 days out. But sometimes it misses if I have multiple connections etc...

I got the e-mail exactly 7 days before the flight (same with the return flight, also 7 days before). The e-mail said the upgrade won't clear, however, until 2 days before the flight. I have no status on US.
