I don't know if it is funny or not because I don't know what it means. I am the OP and I can't figure out if my original post had some quality that suggests I'm a target for closure? Of the many hundreds of threads about applying for credit cards, I'm not sure why mine generated this comment.
I'm not bothered if it is a joke about the entire hobby of credit card bonus-seeking at my expense (i'm old enough and secure enough to not care, lol) but if I did something dumb with my apps, I don't know what it was and would sure like to know. Great credit, good long solid credit history, etc. are too important to jeopardize.

Regardless how good your credit is,
opening too many cards in too short a time can and would bring adverse action. Google it you would find a lot more sob stories.
