If you had actually bothered to read OP's narrative instead of jumping to puritanical conclusions, you wouldn't have embarrassed yourself. OP did not consume 8 bottles back-to-back in 11 hours. OP clearly stated that was over a 32 hour period. And even if OP was intoxicated, I don't believe he was in the cockpit flying the plane.
