Or Hong Kong as availabilly also seems good.

One of our back up plans should SIN-LHR or LHR-SIN show no availability was to fly in or out of HKG or HND/NRT, we would have then used either miles with CX/JL to get to or from SIN or purchase seats with Air Asia/Tiger or similar.

We did look at BKK-LHR as another option but this was a complete waste as it seems to show zero availability anytime.
