I am really surprised they didn't offer the lady with the allergies the option to stay on board or fly later to avoid the IDB compensation. They could have probably avoided IDB cash in that case since she still had the option to fly.
Seeing WN doesn't interline there is no way they could have gotten them there within an hour of the scheduled time and probably not two. If they were more than two hours late getting them they would have ot give CASH compensation for 400% of the fare. If I was flyign with my cat I wouldn't mind getting booted and getting there a few hours later for 4 times the plane ticket cost up to $1,300 in cash.
