Hmm, do you get a corporate rate at the IC? (Which IC?) I will in Tokyo in about two weeks, and no way how I slice it, it is difficult to get a reasonable hotel under $200 (it can't be non-returnable rate).
I agree, you can eat very well for a reasonable sum of money in Tokyo, if you know where to go.
