That's one way to clear/eliminate overbooking.
1st thing Id do is call UA.com tech and have them manually check me in if they can, 2nd Id stop by a checkin counter and p/u a Flight Mgmt card like a BP that is AOK with TSA to proceed to the gate, thats if they cant issue me a BP
