The devil will be in the detail. It will depend on the restriction of definition of 1 award.

If you can claim a 20 night stay at a Cat 5 of 16000pts/night using 4 x 5th night free redemptions. then you will pay 4 x 4x 16000= 256000 -25% = 192000 : a saving of 64000pts.
Of course my expectation is that you will be limited to a single 5th night free award and a saving of 16000pts. So basically you will be limited to one free night per 2) nights paid but with no W/E restriction (except that as W/E is defined as Thurs-Sun you can't have a 5 night redemption without at least 2 nights being weekend nights)
My recollection is that last time they offered a discount award redemption option it took a reasonable amount of to and froing to get SPG to realise that they should offer the discount off the 5th night free award otherwise for 5 night redemptions the discount was zero off the normal points required.
